"Game On" Homecoming 2020

Knox County Homecoming will be held on September 18th, 2020 vs. the Paris Coyotes. Throughout the week, students and staff will celebrate with Dress-Up days following this year’s theme “Game On.” The Dress-Up Days are: Monday-Candy Land-Sweet Dreams-PJ day, Tuesday-Guess Who?-Twin day, Wednesday-UNO-Class Color day, Thursday-Twister-Crazy Clothes and Hair day, and Friday-Sorry! This is OUR House-Spirit day. 

On Friday, a pep rally will be held for 6-12 students at 2:30. The game starts at 7:00pm and Royalty will be crowned at half time. After the game there will be an activity night from 9-11:00pm for 9-12th grade. There will be corn

hole, board games and other activities set up around the football field. 

Freshmen attendants are Nelson Shinkle and Bryston Miller. Nelson Shinkle is the son of Nathan and Deborah Shinkle. He is involved in football, basketball, track, and Campus Bowl. Bryston Miller is the daughter of Russ and Erin Miller. She is involved in softball, cheerleading, FFA, FBLA, and Spanish Club.

Sophomore attendants are Ryan Hall and Hannah Miller. Ryan Hall is the son of Kim and Jennifer Hall. He is involved in FFA and Trapshooting. Hannah Miller is the daughter of Craig Miller and the late Bonnie Miller. She is involved in Spanish Club, cheerleading, and Yearbook. 

Junior attendants are Benjamin Hettinger and Daniela Dooley. Benjamin is the son of Terry and Helen Hettinger. He is involved in band, choir, and basketball. Daniela Dooley is the daughter of Daisy Dooley and the late Daniel Dooley. She is involved in softball, basketball, FCA, FBLA, Band, Spanish Club, and NHS.

The Senior Homecoming Candidates are Kaitlin Campbell, Matthew Carlson, Lani Watts, Coltin Morrow, Kinsley Johnson, Connor Hayes, Bryston Bowen and Riley Strange. 

Kaitlin Campbell is the daughter of Chris and Jamie Campbell.  She is involved in basketball, softball, Vice-President of FFA, President of FBLA, Vice-President of Student Council, President of NHS, and Class President. Matthew Carlson is the son of Randy and Kelley Carlson. He is involved in football, basketball, track, weights, NHS, Student Council, Spanish Club, and FCA. 

Lani Watts is the daughter of John and Amy Watts. She is involved in cheerleading, President of FFA, President of Student Council, Yearbook, and NHS. Coltin Morrow is the son of Jeff and Diane Morrow. He is involved in football, basketball, track, and NHS. 

Kinsley Johnson is the daughter of Glenn and Ashley Johnson. She is involved in softball, basketball, FFA, FBLA, NHS, President of Spanish Club, and FFA Secretary. Conner Hayes is the son of Kelly and Lacy Hayes. He is involved in football, basketball, baseball, track, and Spanish Club.

At-Large candidates are Bryston Bowen and Riley Strange. Bryston Bowen is the son of Josh and Amber Bowen. He is involved in NHS, Drama, Student Council, Yearbook, DJ for softball, and Vice-President of FFA. Riley Strange is the daughter of Alan and Staci Rimer and Jeff Strange. She is involved in softball, basketball, NHS Secretary, FCA, and FBLA.
