Esther Handzus

Esther Shea Handzus is a member of the 2026 graduating class at Knox County R1 High School. Esther is the daughter of Aaron and Amy Handzus Knox City. Throughout high school, Esther has been involved in National Honor Society, track and Student Council. She has been a member of FFA and FCCLA all four years. She has also worked on the Bus Cafe for the past two years.
Three words that describe Esther are hardworking, trustworthy, and caring. Her favorite memory in high school was making it to State for horse evaluation in FFA. Outside of school, Esther enjoys reading. When asked for her advice to upcoming seniors, Esther said, “Make sure not to fall behind on schoolwork and try to get involved in as many things as you can, and make connections with the upperclassmen.”
After high school, Esther plans to attend the College of the Ozarks and major in psychology.
