Senior spotlights highlight the Class of 2021 seniors. Alyssa Ann Peavler is the daughter of Mark and Michelle Peavler. She is involved in basketball, track, FFA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society, 4-H, Spanish Club, and Student Council. She also serves as the class treasurer, secretary of Student Council, and reporter for NHS.

She has enjoyed all four years of high school but Peavler’s favorite school memory was competing in state track with her relay teams during her freshmen and sophomore years. The teams received state medals both years. Her favorite teachers are Spanish teacher, Señor Mendez because he makes learning fun and high school guidance counselor, Mrs. Parrish because she is very caring and always willing to help. The most influential people in her life are her parents. "They have always been there for me, taught me many life skills, and supported me through everything,"  Peavler said.

Peavler describes herself as loving, ambitious, and athletic. She is most proud of her faith.

Peavler's future plans are to attend Moberly Area Community College and then transfer to a university to get a Master's degree in Communication Disorders. In 10 years, she sees herself working her dream job as a Speech Therapist and living on a farm with her animals.
