Taylor Marie Walker is a member of the 2022 class and is the daughter of Stephanie Kincaid and Larry Walker. Taylor is involved in softball, Student Council, FBLA, Spanish Club, FFA, FCCLA, and NHS.

Taylor’s favorite memory from high school comes from when she was in Mrs. Greenley’s language arts class her sophomore year. Her table would bring in a buffet of food every single day and eat it all. Language arts teacher Mrs. Dawn Llewellyn has been Taylor’s favorite teacher in recent years. She says Mrs. Llewellyn will always call her out on her shenanigans, laugh at all her jokes, and gives her candy.

Taylor said one thing that she is very proud of is being the only person in her close family to graduate high school and then further their education by attending college. Taylor described herself as smart, competitive, and always tired. The most influential person in her life is her mom because “she is a single mom who is supporting 4 children. She is always there for us and does as much as she can for each of us.”

Taylor plans to attend college for speech language pathology; however, she has not yet decided what college she will attend. She is still deciding between the University of Missouri and Missouri State University. She chose to study speech language pathology because of her little brother Chance (Squeaky). He has autism and speech pathologists have made a huge difference in his life by helping increase his commutative skills.  In ten years, she sees herself graduating college with a degree in speech pathology, with a house, starting a family, and being financially stable.
