Tonight's (2/18) JV/V basketball games at Marceline have been canceled. They will not be rescheduled.


Due to the extreme cold temperatures forecasted for tomorrow, the Knox County R-1 School District will not be in session.

Middle School Scholar Bowl traveled to North Shelby for their annual tournament on Saturday. After the morning rounds, the teams came out ranked 4th, 5th, 10th, and 11th out of 14 teams.
Jason Devlin got 5th on the All-Tournament Team and Thatcher Townsend tied for 3rd on the All-Tournament Team.

Varsity games tonight 2/17 will be played as scheduled. After Prom meal starting at 5pm. Senior night will be in between games.


Games for today 2/14 are canceled and rescheduled for Monday, February 17th.

Due to illness at Paris R-II Schools, they have postponed our Varsity games for tomorrow, 2/7. A make-up date will be announced soon. The Winter Formal dance on Saturday will still be held as planned.

February is National CTE month! Career and Technical Education (CTE) refers to educational programs that prepare students for specific careers in fields that require practical skills and knowledge. CTE includes a variety of programs and courses that focus on hands-on training and real-world experience. Students in CTE programs learn skills that are directly applicable to jobs in vital, in demand industries.
CTE programs at Knox County include:
Agriculture - Mrs. Dobrinske
Business - Mrs. Wriedt
Family Consumer Sciences - Mrs. Huchteman
Industrial Technology - Mr. Green
These students will be recognized at the February 12th basketball game at girls halftime.
