Students in Mrs. Huchteman’s World Foods class are learning essential kitchen skills in preparation for cooking different foods from all over the world. The skills that the students are learning and mastering include safety, sanitation, and knife cutting skills that will be used in cooking labs where they’ll explore international flavors and cooking techniques.

Thanks to a grant from FCS Financial, Knox County Talon Take Out distributed its first round of food bags last week! Middle and high school students can sign up for Talon Take Out by scanning one of the QR codes posted throughout the high school building. Bags will be distributed the second Friday of each month.

Today our Middle School Cross Country team competed at the Salisbury MS Invitational. Our girls team finished 5th and Natalie Greenley placed 15th. The boys showed great energy and pushed hard through the entire race.
