Due to the weather, the Varsity baseball game today 5/2 has been cancelled.
Mrs. Ellison's World History classes wrapped up their projects on Imperialism in Southeast Asia this week. They did a great job presenting on either a location or person during the 1800's. Each group had to do an activity with the class as part of their presentation. We had lotus drinks, coloring sheets, bingo, mock battles, various arts and crafts, etc.
Today's Varsity home track meet 5/2 is cancelled. Baseball TBA.
Basketball Camp coming up!
The Scotland County Junior High Relays will be held this afternoon. To allow for the safe loading and departing of our school buses, spectator parking will be limited to the west (student) parking lot prior to 3:45. Parking will be permitted in the south (staff) parking lot following the departure of our students at 3:45. The south (elementary) entrance will be open to the public at 3:45.

8th Grade Promotion
There will be a Knox County After Prom meeting to choose new officers and begin planning for next year on Wednesday, May 15th at 5:30 pm in the HS Cafeteria. All parents of current sophomores and juniors are encouraged to attend!
Summer School Meals
The Conference track meet today 4/29 at Paris--start time has been pushed back. Coaches meeting at 3:00, field events at 3:30, and running at 4:30. The bus will leave at 1:45.
Baseball game today 4/26 with Paris is postponed. Makeup date TBA.
Varsity track meet at Putnam County is canceled today 4/26 due to weather conditions/forecast.

Congratulations to sophomore Cooper Clair on setting a new school record in the 200 at the Rachel Morris Relays on Monday with at time of 22.67. The previous record was 23.01 held by Noah Talton. Congratulations Cooper!
