Winter Break starts today!

Mrs. Greenley's LA 2 class recently completed their annual Local Non-Profit persuasive speeches. Students learn about rhetorical strategies while studying Julius Caesar and then apply their skills to their own speeches. Students are challenged to pick a local non-profit to learn about and then must convince Mrs. Greenley and their peers that the organizations are a worthy cause to donate to. Winners included: Kiersen Goodwin and Kaydee Myers-Local Cancer Fund, Donovan Dooley-Royal Rangers, Grayson Miller-Edina St. Jude Runners, and Cooper Clair-Preferred Healthcare.
