Friday's (11/3) Varsity football game at Schuyler will be $6 at the gate (no online tickets) with everyone age 6 and up paying admission. No MSTA, senior citizen, family or staff passes allowed due to it being a post-season MSHSAA event. GO EAGLES!

The KC Bus Cafe staff delivered free coffee to the Knox County Nursing Home staff and residents this cold Halloween morning! Happy Halloween!


Anthony Brugenhemke and Grayson MIller competed in Cross Country districts at South Callaway on Saturday. Congratulations to sophomore Grayson Miller for finishing 20th. Grayson will move on to the State competition on Friday, November 3rd at Columbia at Gans Creek Cross Country Course. He will compete against 195 runners, with the top 30 medaling. Cross Country is coached by Mrs. Brandi Wriedt. Good luck Grayson!

Monster delivery day has arrived! Students in Mrs. England's kindergarten class, Mrs. Miller's work experience class, Mrs. Van Delft's library class, Mrs. Barnhill's SWAT class and Mrs. Huchteman's middle school FACS, The Nest and Foods classes collaborated to create felt monsters, cookies, and keepsake keychains for our kindergarten friends. Fundraiser for the Berry Family!

Mr. Keith Gudehus, KC R-I Safety Coordinator, is pleased to announce both caution lights are now operational. Please note the reduced speed limit throughout the school zone when the lights are flashing. Lights will flash from 7:30am-8:30am, through Preschool pick up/drop off midday, and from 3:00pm-4:00pm each school day. They will also flash in the event of school releasing early for any reason. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe as they enter and exit school grounds.

The Knox County Ambulance District made a presentation to Med Club (sponsored by Mrs. Carlson). Students learned about the need for EMTs in our county and the career opportunity being offered by the ambulance district.
