Baseball Districts Bracket--Games played at Schuyler County.
Over the last few weeks several classes have been working on a collaborative project to put on a wedding. Students in Greenhouse class designed bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, and boutonnieres. The Desktop Publishing class worked to design invitations and menus. Students in Interior Design worked to design the layout of the venue, the place settings, and the reception décor. The students in Foods class created menus and prepared the food for the big day including mixed fruit bowls, steak, au gratin potatoes, roasted carrots, roasted broccoli, rolls, pies, and even a wedding cake! Seventh-grade math students worked to scale the recipes the bride chose and find out the cost per plate that the Foods students should charge the bride and groom.
Yesterday the big day finally arrived! Our wedding guests (Mr. Turgeon, Mr. Van Delft, Mr. Gudehus, Mrs. Goodwin, and Alicia) had a great time and enjoyed the delicious meal.
